Yes. It's standard that we will hook up to your home water for the duration of our service. Pressure washing companies require access to a water supply because the pressure washing equipment needs a significant amount of water to operate effectively. Our machines use from 3 to 8 gallons of water per minute, depending on the type of machine and the intensity of the cleaning required. By connecting our buffer tank directly to your home or business's water supply, we can ensure a steady and sufficient flow of water that allows us to achieve the best cleaning results on your property. Additionally, using the on-site water supply is often more convenient and efficient, as it eliminates the need for transporting large quantities of water to your location, which can be impractical and costly.
Pressure washing uses high-pressure water spray to remove dirt, grime, and other debris from hard surfaces, whereas soft washing uses lower pressure along with special cleaning solutions to gently clean more delicate surfaces without causing damage.
Pressure washing is generally used on concrete, stone, or brick surfaces, including driveways, sidewalks, patios, etc. We generally do not use high pressure systems for siding, roofs, fences, wooden decks, or other areas that may be damaged by high pressure.
Soft washing is recommended for roofs, siding, painted patios, wood, and other delicate surfaces where high pressure could cause damage. It effectively cleans and kills mold, algae, and mildew without harming the surface.
Our soft washing process uses specially formulated cleaning solutions that are designed to be effective at removing dirt, mold, and algae while being environmentally friendly. These solutions are typically biodegradable and are carefully selected to minimize any potential harm to your garden, landscaping, and pets. We understand the importance of keeping your outdoor spaces safe, which is why we also take additional precautions such as diluting the cleaning agents properly and, when necessary, covering plants or watering them down before and after the application to protect them from any overspray. We aim to leave your property clean and safe for everyone to enjoy.
The time required depends on the size of the area and the extent of the dirt and grime buildup. A typical driveway might take 1-3 hours, while a house or roof can take 3-5 hours.
This varies depending on sun exposure, trees and plants near or overhanging your property. However generally, it's recommended to pressure wash your driveway and screens every three to six months. Your house should be washed every one to two years, and your roof every two to three years.
If not done correctly, pressure washing can damage surfaces, and some of the chemicals can harm plants and grass. Hiring a professional with the right tools and experience is essential to ensure safe and effective cleaning.
It is not typically necessary to be home as long as our technicians have access to the areas that need cleaning. We do encourage you to prepare your home or business before our visit, howwever.
Remove any fragile items from the area to be cleaned, ensure windows are closed, and if possible, clear the area of vehicles, toys, and outdoor furniture. Also be sure to secure your pets.
